Til sidst tabte jeg alligevel mit hjerte til 60.000m2 beton.
I Kharkov, 40 km fra den russiske grænse, findes Sovjetunionens største byggeri i stålbeton: DERZHPROM, planlagt som regeringsbygning da Kharkov var hovedstad i republikken.
Beliggende på verdens næststørste plads, og bygget i perioden 1925-28.
Arkitekt: Sergei Serafimov 1878 – 1939
De 13 fliser er ”fremkaldelser” af områder på bygningen.
40x40cm / dobbeltvævet /papirgarn.

In the end, I did still loose my heart to 60.000m2 of concrete.
In Kharkov, 40m from the Russian border, lies the largest reinforced concrete building complex in the Soviet Union: DERZPHROM; Intended as a government building when Kharkov was the capitol of the republic.
Located on the second largest square in the world, and built in the period of 1925-1928.
Architect: Sergei Serfaimov 1878-1939
The 13 tiles are ‘developments’ of the areas of the building.
